In recent years, Dongli Town in Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, has accelerated its industrial restructuring. Seizing the opportunity to establish a nationally recognized strong agricultural town, an investment of 7.7 million yuan has been made in constructing a research and development and experimental demonstration base for a new variety of golden peaches, as well as a standardized planting base for golden peaches. Yiyuan County has enthusiastically developed yellow peach cultivation, tailored to local conditions. Presently, with 30,000 mu of yellow peaches entering their peak production period, the annual income has surged to 600 million yuan, paving the way for prosperity in Dongli Town through the cultivation of small peaches.

As a prominent fruit industry town, the early maturing yellow peaches enjoy immense popularity in the market, and fruit farmers are rejoicing over their bountiful harvest. Foreign merchants arrive early, and the yellow peaches, picked with fruit bags, are quickly sold out. In major fruit cold storages, the larger facilities need to employ one or two hundred women to sort and package the incoming yellow peaches. After undergoing heating in the cold storage, the peaches are loaded and transported to various regions. The majority of peaches awaiting packaging are early-maturing yellow peaches, commanding prices two to three times higher than regular peaches.

Furthermore, Dongli Town is actively promoting grape cultivation. It is worth noting that the grape varieties in Dongli Town are no longer limited to "Jingya, Jufeng+Hongti," as new varieties such as Meidu, Sunshine Rose, and Mat have emerged. The sales channels have expanded beyond local markets, and fruit farmers are undergoing a transformation in their planting and sales models.

Dongli Town serves as a microcosm of Yiyuan County's efforts to promote rural revitalization within Zibo City. In recent years, Yiyuan County has prioritized enhancing food production capacity, developing the entire rural industry chain, constructing green and picturesque countryside, improving rural facilities and services, and enhancing the effectiveness of rural governance. It has set the goal of becoming a "National Rural Revitalization Demonstration County," with a focus on putting people at the center and strengthening the support pillars of rural development.
